Easily add a fully customisable sidebar to your Squarespace blog with this plugin by SQSPThemes*, which supports both Squarespace 7.0 and 7.1.

Automatically add a ‘related posts’ summary block to a blog post based on related categories & tags of said post. This SQSPThemes plugin* works with Squarespace 7.0 and 7.1.

This plugin by SEOSpace* is a must-have for improving your blog content SEO, with scans & audits that create a list of tasks for things you can do to boost your SEO on Squarespace.

Squarespace blog table of contents plugin
This plugin by Adlytic Marketing automatically creates a table of contents for your blog posts based on headings. I have it working on this blog post! It’s great to help readability and it’s good for SEO as well.

Better blog filtering & search plugin for Squarespace *
The Universal Filter plugin by Squarewebsites* is one of my most used plugins across all the sites I design, as it can be used for so many different things (including galleries and ecommerce stores!).
For blogs, I use this to create a more streamlined category filtering system, and the search bar works way better than the native Squarespace search function.

Display more summary block posts plugin for Squarespace*
The Lazy Summaries plugin from Squarewebsites* enables you to load more than the usual limit of 30 items in a summary block (expanding it to up to 250!).
This means if you’re using a summary block to display your blog posts you can display 100s instead of just 30 (you might choose to do this if you’re using the Universal Filter plugin mentioned above as well!).

Numbered pagination for Squarespace blogs plugin*
The Numbered Pagination plugin from Squarewebsites* replaces the basic ‘older’ and ‘newer’ paginations when browsing a Squarespace blog feed with actual numbers, making it much easier to navigate!

Squarekicker No-Code Design Plugin*
Squarekicker* is the ultimate Squarespace customisation sidekick, as it allows you to edit the design of pretty much everything on your site (more than what native Squarespace allows) without needing any CSS code.
For blogs, I love using Squarekicker as a quick way to resize images, add shadows & borders to screenshots and more.

This plugin from Ghost* automatically adds the featured image you upload to a blog post’s as a banner image to the top of the individual blog post page.

Last updated date for Squarespace blog posts plugin
This plugin by Adlytic Marketing will also display the last date the post was updated, not just the date it was first published as it normally does on Squarespace.
