Brand & Website Design for Amy Lacey

Beautiful, feminine design for bridal hair & makeup artist, Amy.

I was super excited to work on this project with Amy, as it meant I could really get creative with lots of rose gold, pinks, soft greys and glitter! Sometimes a girl's just gotta get in touch with her feminine side every now and then, and this project provided the perfect outlet.

The Brand Moodboard

Inspired by plenty of shimmery tones and a soft, romantic colour palette, we set to work creating a logo and brand elements that would attract Amy's target customers; brides wanting to look their most beautiful for their big day.

The Brand Concept Board

Amy loved the idea of incorporating a heart within the flowing design of this customised font; obviously a symbol of love and unity for her clients' wedding days! We worked through several different logo variations and submarks to make sure Amy had a comprehensive branding 'kit' to use throughout her website and different collaterals.

Branded collateral design

As well as a magazine advert design and social media templates, I also created a PDF price list for Amy to have printed and hand out at wedding fairs and events. I love how the collateral looks with the lace (of 'Lacey'!) incorporated!

Website design

- BEFORE -

Amy's old website was focused around her old brand and logo, and with a renewed colour palette and brand guidelines to keep everything consistent with her collateral, the site needed a refresh to bring it up to date.

We moved everything over to Squarespace and I'm really happy with the results and how it looks just like Amy imagined it in the moodboard!
